About This Role
As a Senior WordPress Developer at Soft Mit Technology, you'll be responsible for architecting and developing custom WordPress solutions for our diverse client base. You'll work on challenging projects ranging from e-commerce platforms to enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Architect scalable solutions for complex client requirements
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs
- Optimize website performance and security
- Stay current with WordPress best practices and new features
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions
- Document code and create technical specifications
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Expert knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with the WordPress REST API and Gutenberg blocks
- Strong understanding of WooCommerce development
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
